At SeniorLIFE, our comprehensive approach to caring for seniors is an alternative to nursing home placement. SeniorLIFE members receive the support and services they need to allow them to stay in the place they call home, while maintaining their dignity and independence.
We provide a wide array of healthcare services that are customized to accommodate the special needs of each individual. The services that follow are all provided at the LIFE Center:
- Adult Day Activities
- Transportation
- General medical and specialist care, including regular check-ups
- Nursing care with a 24 hour On-Call Nurse
- Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy
- Personal care (grooming, toileting, bathing)
- Prescribed drugs and medication monitoring
- Interdisciplinary team assessment and care plan development
- Meals and snacks
- Caregiver education and respite care
- Medical social services
- Dietary and Nutritional counseling
- Medical and personal care supplies
- Durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers
- Lab tests, X-rays and other diagnostic and screening tests
- Foot care
- Eye care, including check-ups, treatment, eyeglasses and eyeglass repair and maintenance
- Hearing services, including test, hearing aids and hearing aid repair and maintenance
- Use of Oxygen
Once a person enrolls in SeniorLIFE, all services, with the exception of emergency care, must be provided and/or coordinated through SeniorLIFE. The member or family must pay for any unauthorized services from outside the SeniorLIFE network.
