SeniorLIFE offers Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage. If you join the SeniorLIFE program, you'll get your Part D-covered drugs and all other necessary medication from SeniorLIFE.
LIFE Supports Family Caregivers
SeniorLIFE supports your family members and other caregivers with the care giving training, support groups, and respite care to help families keep their love ones in the community.
LIFE Provides Services in the Community
SeniorLIFE provides care and services in the home, the community and the LIFE center. We have contracts with many specialist and other providers in the community to make sure that you get the care you need. Many of our members get most of their care from staff employed by SeniorLIFE in the LIFE center. SeniorLIFE meets state and Federal safely requirements and include adult day programs, medical clinics, activities, and occupational and physical therapy facilities.
LIFE Supports Self-directed Care
This means you and your LIFE doctor and other care providers are also the people who work with you to make decisions about your care.
Preventive Care is Covered and Encouraged
The focus of SeniorLIFE is to help you live in the community for as long as possible. To meet this goal, we focus on preventative care. Although all people enrolled in SeniorLIFE are eligible for nursing home care, only 7% live in nursing homes.
LIFE Provides Medical Transportation
SeniorLIFE provides all medically-necessary transportation to the LIFE center for activities or medical appointments. You can also get transportation to appointments in the community.
What You Pay for LIFE Depends on Your Financial Situation
If you quality for Medicare, all Medicare-covered services are paid for by Medicare. If you also qualify for Pennsylvania State Medicaid program, you will pay nothing for the long-term care portion of the PACE benefit. If you don't qualify for Medicaid you will be charged a monthly premium to cover the long-term care portion the PACE benefit and a premium for Medicare Part D drugs. However, at SeniorLIFE there is never a deductible or co-payment for any drug, service, or care approved by SeniorLIFE.
